I have been thinking a lot about Biblical Community and what it looks like for today.  The Book of Acts Church was great at relationships and doing life together, so how do we do it in today's fast paced world.

Many people have different approaches to community.  Some people think that true community is living together in a commune and sharing underwear and eating bran.  Vote me out of that one.

Other think that it is a network of small groups that meet every week.  I can buy that, but I think it is much deeper than that.

Still others think that you don't need it at all, or at least they make no attempt to have it because life can be so busy.

I have some thoughts that I will be sharing later in the week, but I would like to hear "what do you think that Community looks like today."

The first thing many people point out is how big of a deal meals were in the
culture of Acts. People ate and hung together for meals, and frequently. Life
2000 years ago was much simpler. Food is not the major part of life that it was
    then.

So what is? %94 of American males watch some sort of sport on the
weekend. Further, %82 of those do so alone. Since this is one (of many) major
time consumers for us, why do we do it alone? We should get together for much
    more than "church" purposes.

By the way, those percentages are %100
    made up.
