Get a Vision
from the pastor Written by Tom Dillingham Tuesday, 21 October 2008 Most people want something different for their lives. Whether it is better family time, to start a family, have deeper friendships, more money or a better job. Most of us have things in our lives that we would like to make better. The big question is how do we do it.
I would say that you start with getting a vision. When we are young we have this incredible ability to dream about what we want our life to be. Sadly many of us lose this as we grow older or face obstacles in life. We loose the vision that we once had for our lives and just live with the status quo. Make a decision that you will start to dream again and get a vision for your life. Some important questions to ask yourself are:
If money were no object what would I want to do with my life?
What things in my life can I change right now for the better?
Who are some people that I need to hang out with to cause change to happen?
Do I take the time to really dream about my future or do I just let it happen?
Asking yourself the right questions can sometimes spur you on to the vision that God has for you!!
